WAYNE PARKER
Artist's Bio

Wayne was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 7, 1947. He began his education in the Philadelphia public school system and also attended Scotland School for Veterans Children in Scotland, Pa. Traveling with his family, who were military dependents, Wayne continued school in Northern Virginia and Paris, France. Back to the States, Wayne graduated from Wakefield High School, in Alexandria, Virginia.

During all the changes in his life, Wayne continued his love for the art by creating some of the most brilliant pieces of work that now hang in homes here in the United States, His art also hangs in homes and offices in Dinslaken Germany, Frankfurt, Germany, and Saarbrucken, Germany.

While serving in the Air Force, and as a civilian, Wayne was promoted to Branch Chief of the Graphic Arts Section and Audio Visual Services at Hahn Air Base, Germany where he received many awards and recognitions including the Superior Performance Award. He created specific art work for the air show, an annual event at Hahn Air Base. Wayne created the artwork for Doll Art Magazine and exhibited at the 1994 Doll Art World Congress in Paris, France and Frankfurt, Germany.

Today, Wayne's passion for his life's work has not waned. He continues to create and excite. When he sees something in his mind's eye that piques his interest, he sets about bringing it to life.

Wayne resides in Kriftel, a small town suburban to Frankfurt, Germany.
